Now, are you ready to change your life? Are you truly ready? This system is unlike anything else you’ve probably experienced, and it will work for you. It will open your eyes to a new realm of weight loss, and as you progress further into the heart of it, you’ll begin to see just how easy weight loss truly can be.

The first thing you have to understand right here and right now is this: If you’ve tried to lose weight in the past, and failed. If you’ve tried diets and exercise programs only to lose weight and regain it. If you tried and tried but were unsuccessful, forget about it. If it didn’t work in the past, it won’t work in the future. Insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. If you tried diets to lose weight and failed, then dieting alone is not your answer. If you’ve tried intense exercise and failed, then exercise alone is not your answer. From this point forward, you must do your absolute best to suspend all beliefs about what will work and what wont work for you. I want you to develop a short term memory loss, so to speak with regards to any attempts at losing weight that have failed in your past. Just because you’ve been unsuccessful in the past does not mean you will be now. It simply means that you’ve been searching in the wrong places for the right answers. Well, I’m happy to say that right now, you’re in the right place at the right time. Your life has led you to this point in time. Right now is the perfect time for you to make a change. Let’s capitalize on this perfect moment and look ahead toward your future while suspending all beliefs you’ve had in the past.

Before we begin, I’d like to go over exactly how you’ll need to follow this system to get the maximum effect. The Instinctive Weight Loss System is broken up into 6 different phases, each offering relevant causes of weight gain, as well as solutions for weight loss. It’s very important to go through each phase in the order it’s presented. Phases one and two are designed to clear your mind of any subconscious blocks you may have. These 2 phases will help to pave the way for the rest of the system. This is crucial before beginning the actual plan. Phases 3, 4, and 5 focus on many of the different issues regarding weight gain, and it’s in these phases, where you’ll begin to notice major changes in your thinking, and thus, your body. Phase 6 is devoted to taking your new body and health to the next level. Each phase has what’s called a conscious audio section as well as a subconscious audio section. The conscious audio section of each phase works to engage your conscious mind, and lays out the fundamentals of each cause of weight gain, talks about the brutal truths about each cause, and also lays out the solutions. Make sure to have a pen and paper handy. There are times I’ll be asking you to write down a few notes for you to review. There are also times during certain conscious audio sections where you’ll need to close your eyes to focus on a specific task. If you do, it’s important to make sure that you listen to it in a safe, controlled environment. Do not listen to these phases while driving or operating heavy machinery. After each conscious audio, you’ll be given a subconscious audio to listen to. This part of each phase will serve to reinforce what you’ll be given, and to engage your subconscious mind so it will remain locked in your internal memory forever. It’s imperative that you listen to this part of each phase with absolutely no distractions. The best time to listen is right before you go to sleep, or immediately upon awakening. I recommend that you listen to the subconscious audio phase at least 3 times on separate days before moving on to the next phase. Some of the subconscious audio phases have light background music and binaural beats that’ll be in synch with my words and suggestions. This is to help you relax quicker and open your mind faster to what I’ll be telling you.

If you suffer from a medical condition, or a mental disorder, you should seek the approval from your physician or qualified professional before beginning this system. While this system is not an exercise plan or diet, it will create changes in your desires for exercise and food. In saying that, if you are being treated for any disorder, consult the professional who is treating you before beginning.

I want to take a moment to talk about what you can expect from this system.

This audio you’re listening to right now is your Introduction. In order to make any changes on any level, you must understand how this will work for you. This introduction will open your eyes to a new world of thought. It will help you understand the source of some of your behavior, but more importantly, will give you insight as to how to change the behavior.

After listening to both the conscious and subconscious audios for phase 1, you can expect to see a difference in your outlook. You can expect to have a renewed sense of hope and optimism for what you’re experiencing. After listening to both parts of phase 2, you can expect to feel mentally lighter. Many of the issues that may have been holding you back are addressed, and by thoroughly understanding this phase, you can expect a feeling of power and control that seems to elude most people who are overweight. After listening to both parts of phase 3, you can expect some incredible “light bulb moments”, and these moments will reinforce your initial optimism about your health and your body. Your thoughts at this point should be making the shift towards your goals. Your automatic actions at this point should be beginning to change without you even thinking about them. After listening to both parts of phase 4, your beliefs about food and your lifestyle should be altered. You can expect to see your body changing in many ways. Your mind should be cleared of negative programming, and you can expect to feel a greater confidence in yourself. After listening to both parts of phase 5, you should experience freedom. Freedom from that negative voice inside of your head. Freedom from the grip that food may have had on you. You can expect a noticeable difference in the way you look, and more importantly, the way you feel. You can expect to think just as a thin person would think about many different situations. In turn, you can, quite possibly for the first time in your life, feel like a thin person feels. Phase 6 is devoted to taking your health and fitness to the next level. Phase 6 should be listened to only when your health, your body, and your mental state are dramatically improved from where they are right now.

The speed at which you see physical changes depends on your commitment to the system. The quicker you can understand everything told to you, the quicker you can expect to see results. It’s very important to note that this system is not a diet or an exercise plan. When you embark on a diet, you expect to see and feel a difference quickly because it’s completely physical. This system will give you the positive effects of a diet, but the actions you’ll take will be automatic. Many people don’t even realize the system is working until they wake up one day and look in the mirror, or step on a scale, or realize after the fact that they’ve been eating much less. This is automatic weight loss, without restriction. I have to tell you that there is a ton of information in this system. A lot of it you’ve probably never heard before. There may be parts of this audio that you feel may not be completely relevant to your situation. Nevertheless, it’s still important to listen to everything in the order it’s presented to you. Although you may not be able to relate to all aspects of this system, the principles can work for you in ways other than just losing weight. This system can change your behaviors and automatic actions for life. It can do so without you even trying. That’s the beauty of this all. I recommend that you don’t put this away after you complete it in its entirety. You should listen to both the conscious and subconscious audios as often as you can. Your best results will be seen when everything you’ll hear is conditioned in your subconscious mind. Your mind responds best to repetition, so even after you get the health and the body you want, listen to this again, and again. The men and women who have had the most success listen to this entire system at least once per month. The more you listen, the more you lose. It’s that simple. So listen intently, and listen often.

There may be times that you experience what you may think are setbacks. This is completely normal, and I suggest that you do not dwell on these times. What you may consider a setback always has a hidden meaning behind it. The hidden meaning of any setback will be displayed for you to acknowledge, only if you’re focused on the words that I will speak to you. Your mind will be reconditioned for automatic weight loss. In the process of reconditioning, it’s common to have experiences which will challenge your hope, your optimism, and your enthusiasm. You must commit to yourself that you will follow this system, and open your heart and your mind to the facts this system will present to you. This commitment cannot waiver. You deserve to have a beautiful, healthy and vibrant life. By making this commitment, you are telling yourself and the world that you, in fact do deserve to be healthy and vibrant. This is imperative for your success. Do not let a number on your scale, a comment made by others, or a bad day, week or month deter you from this commitment. These principles always work, as long as you trust in yourself, and listen in the way this system is designed.

Now, there may also be times where you simply may not want to listen to this on a given day. If you had a bad day at work, or had a very stressful situation happen to you, you may not want to listen to one of the phases. Understand that it’s okay. There’s no exact plan for you to follow. If you feel the need to take a brief break from listening to the system, then take it. And take it with no guilt. Even during the break you may be taking, your mind will be working toward our goal. Even during a break, the system will be working its magic on your mind. Don’t get caught up in feeling a lack of encouragement or hope. The moment you complete the system is the absolute perfect moment for you to complete the system. It doesn’t matter if it takes you 2 weeks or 2 months. The exact moment you finish is the exact moment your mind has compelled you to finish. Always keep this in mind. There is no perfect way for you to experience this system. Let me repeat that, “There is no perfect way for you to experience this system.”

Now, in order to utilize this system to its full potential, you must understand the fundamentals of your mind. Once this is achieved, the new insights that you’ll have will begin to shed some light as to how this system will work for you. In this section of the system, we’ll go over in brief detail the most important aspects of your mind relating to the processing of thoughts, beliefs, and ultimately how it affects your weight, both positively and negatively.

I’m going to begin by telling you a story. This story will be referred to many times throughout this system, as it exemplifies many of the issues that most people who are overweight face of have faced in the past. As you listen to this story, I’d like for you to see which aspects of the story relate to you either now, or in the past. Once you hear something that you can relate to, pause this audio and write it down. This is very important to do. What you write down will be addressed in the later phases of the system. So here it is.

There was a beautiful woman name Sarah who has struggled with her weight for her entire life.

Sarah is 41 years old, is 5 foot 7 and weighs 260lbs. On a daily basis, people can see the desperation in her eyes, a result of a life-long battle with her weight and all the emotional issues that came with it. She’s a pretty woman, with long dark hair and an incredible smile. Sarah had come to a crossroads in her life. She was tired of living her life imprisoned by her weight, and knew that she wanted to do something about it. She was unable to fit into any old clothes. She was unhappy every single time she looked in the mirror. She barely had enough energy to make it through a full day of work. She constantly obsessed over food. She had lost control of her weight and her life, and she had no idea how to get it back. She had tried nearly everything imaginable in the past to help her resolve these issues, all to no avail. She tried countless diets that seemed to work for a little while, but every single one resulted in failure in the long run. She would lose some weight, but only to see the scale inch higher and higher, and eventually become a larger number than when she first started the diet. She would have periods where she exercised intensely, which worked for her as well. But, just like the diets, the number on the scale inched higher and higher after a period of time. She was depressed, desperate; one couldn’t find a speck of hope inside of her.

Sarah’s story began the day she was born, but the relevance of her story pertains to what she could remember, so that’s where we’ll start. Her story was filled with sadness, trauma, and despair, yet it was also filled with hope, joy, and triumph. Sarah’s story and anyone that can relate to Sarah’s story is exactly the reason I have devoted my life to helping others.

Sarah was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Her earliest childhood memory relating to food was hearing her mother and father constantly talking about food and their bodies like they were the plague. She remembers her mother looking in the mirror, and making comments about how bad she looked. She remembered her father always joking about his belly and everyone always got a good laugh at his jokes.

Sarah could recall her parents both telling her not to eat too much, because they didn’t want her to end up like them. They told her that they were teased often, and they didn’t want to see that happen to her. So they always watched what she ate, made comments if they thought it wasn’t good for her, and talked incessantly about how they ate each and every day. Her parents would encourage her to exercise at a very young age, even though they never did.

Several times throughout the year, her family would have large celebrations. At each celebration, there would be enough food for a small army, and they would always joke about the amount of food. Even though her parents would over-indulge in every unhealthy food they could get their hands on, they would still chastise Sarah if they saw her eating something unhealthy, or eating more than what they thought was enough.

Most of Sarah’s family was overweight. She remembers that at each and every celebration, her family would joke about the fat gene they all carried. They would poke fun at themselves and each other about their weight. They would also make comments about people who were thin. They would call them names and always make comments about how they are obsessed with their bodies, and couldn’t possibly enjoy life.

The topic of the celebrations always seemed to end up about dieting. She remembers her parents talking about the diets they’re currently on, and hearing her aunts, uncles and cousins chime in explaining the newest and latest diets and exercise programs on the market.

Each and every time after the parties were over, her parents would feel sick from eating so much. She would hear them say things such as, “I can’t believe I ate so much. Tomorrow, I’m not eating anything.” But tomorrow would come and that would never happen.

Sarah remembers that every time she would get upset or angry or show any signs of physical or emotional discomfort, her parents would immediately divert her attention from herself by offering her ice cream. It seemed to work.

As you could have guessed, Sarah began to gain weight at a fairly rapid pace starting at the age of 5. Before she turned 5, she was healthy, and always looked like an average young girl. She was not heavy, and no one in their right mind would have made comments to her about her weight. Except her parents.

Sarah began school at 5, and over the next few years her classmates would always poke fun about her weight. There were also several instances that the kids would make fun of how large and overweight her parents were. One day at around the age of 9, Sarah confided in her parents that she wanted to lose weight, so she wouldn’t get picked on anymore. Her parents embraced her, and told her they would do anything to help her. So, they went out and purchased the newest and most popular diet at the time. They also went out and bought her a treadmill for their home.

Sarah was eager to lose weight. Without question, she began the diet, which consisted of eating pre-packaged food sold by the Company. All of her meals were portion-controlled, contained small amounts of fat, and some actually tasted okay. She would eat her breakfast at home, and then bring her lunch to school each day. She would then come home and eat her pre-packaged dinner while her parents ate their meals. She was pretty hungry all the time, but was a very determined young girl. Her father would have her get on the treadmill 3 days per week at nights, while he watched the television sitting on the couch, eating potato chips. On the days where she was tired and didn’t want to exercise, her parents were very quick to remind her that she had to lose weight, or risk being teased again.

After a couple of months of dieting and exercising, Sarah had lost close to 30lbs, and the teasing stopped. She and her parents were overjoyed, and during their next celebration were quick to point out how great Sarah’s diet was working. This encouraged several others of her family to begin the same diet she was on. How incredible! Sarah’s victory had started a weight loss revolution for her whole family. Sarah was so proud, and bragged to everyone at school about how she’s making her family healthy.

Sarah began to excel in school, and became very active in sports. She played 3 different sports at any given time and was quickly becoming a popular young girl. At the age of 10, she decided that she no longer wanted to continue with the diet she was on. After all, it had been almost a year since she’s been eating pre-packaged food, and she’s feeling very optimistic that she can keep her weight off eating normal foods from now on.

She does just that. Sarah continued to watch what she ate, and when she didn’t, her parents were quick to point it out to her. At 13 years old and 130lbs, it seemed as if her weight struggles were over. She blossomed into a healthy, confident teenager ready to tackle the world.

Then one summer’s day something terrible happened. Sarah was on her way home from soccer practice, and against her parent’s wishes, decided she was going to see a friend who had taken a large interest in her. He was 16, and she was 13. His name was Joey. Sarah went over to Joey’s house to go swimming in his pool. After being there for a few minutes, Joey led her into his room. He told her he wanted to show her his new black leather couch he received for his birthday. 30 minutes later, she ran out of Joey’s house, crying and in pain. Joey had abused her.

She didn’t know what to do. After all, she shouldn’t have been there. Her parents had forbidden her to see this boy in the first place. She was alone, confused, and frightened.

Sarah decided to go home and act like nothing ever happened. She remembers walking into the door of her home, and telling her mother that she didn’t feel so well. She took a shower, and went right to bed. As she cried herself to sleep, she tried to convince herself that it never happened.

A couple of months went by, and Sarah didn’t really feel any different. She remembered what had happened to her, but the nightly ritual of convincing herself that nothing happened seemed to work. The memory of it faded over time, and after a year, she barely thought about the event. But something else was happening. About a year after this abuse had happened, Sarah went to see her Doctor for a routine physical, stepped on the scale, and had gained 20 pounds. She was now 150lbs.

She was devastated, and so were her parents. Her parents desperately began to put pressure on her to start the diet and exercise routine again. But Sarah figured that she was watching what she was eating, and playing 3 sports at a time. Wasn’t she exercising enough? What was she doing wrong?

After the appointment, Sarah began to become obsessed with weighing herself. She set a goal to become 130lbs once more. She stepped on the scale every morning, hoping that the number would go down. But it didn’t. She decided she didn’t want to eat pre-packaged foods anymore, so she went out and bought a new diet plan which made her cut her carbohydrate intake. She could no longer eat any starches, except vegetables, and had to eat 6 times per day. She also began to run on the treadmill late at nights, in addition to the 3 sports she played. Again, she was determined. After a couple months, Sarah had lost 10 pounds. Although the weight loss wasn’t as much as she would have liked, she was happy to see that she wasn’t gaining anymore.

After about 6 months on the new plan; however, Sarah began to see her weight start to creep up on the scale again. “What am I doing wrong”, she asked herself. Her parents advised her to eat less, and exercise more. So she did just that. She stopped eating breakfast, got up early in the morning to run, and ran again late at night. The number on the scale began to drop again. Sarah began to scrutinize every piece of food that she was going to eat. She did everything to avoid the celebrations with her family because she knew she’d be tempted. She continued to lose weight pretty quickly, and just before she would get to her goal of 130lbs, the number would always start to creep up again. She would watch every weight loss show possible. She would see people lose massive amounts of weight, and become encouraged. She would watch infomercials late at night and be compelled to purchase the newest exercise machine that promised to get her into shape quickly. She joined countless gyms, went once, and never again. She tried diet pills, liquid only diets, no carb diets, body cleansing systems, herbs, and even had her Doctor prescribe her a “fat blocking” medication. Some worked, and some didn’t. One thing all had in common was that after a while of using them, Sarah would always be worse off than when she started with them.

The cycle of dieting, exercising, and obsession with weight continued on for the next 25 years of her life. At one point in her mid 20’s, Sarah decided that she wasn’t going to let her weight bring her down anymore. She decided to throw herself into her career, and not obsess about her weight anymore. So she did just that. She started working 60 hours a week, and moved very quickly up the corporate ladder. During that time something else was happening. She was starting to lose weight. She figured it must be that she barely ate anything because she didn’t have time to. That must be it. 5 years later, after working 60 hour weeks, Sarah was down to 140lbs again. Only 10lbs off her ultimate goal. She was exercising on and off, but was barely eating anything. She went to her Doctor, and although her cholesterol and blood pressure were high, her Doctor congratulated her on her weight loss. After all, 2 years prior she weighed 170lbs.

Then, one day while she was sitting at her office, she had some great news come her way. Her boss invited her up to his office to speak with her. The buzz around her workplace was that she was going to get promoted to V.P. of Sales. This would increase her salary by 25%. She was so excited. She eagerly went up to her Manager’s office and he asked her to sit down. As she agreed, she looked over to see his black leather couch against the wall. She didn’t know why, but she immediately felt very uncomfortable. Her hands started to sweat and shake, and her heart began to race. She took a deep breath and sat down. She didn’t really hear much that her Manager had to say except that she did get the promotion. As she walked out of his office, and as everyone was congratulating her, she only had one thing in mind. Ice Cream! Sarah quickly ran home, downed a quart of ice cream and went to bed. From that point on, Sarah’s life began to spiral. Over the next year, she put on 80lbs, had bouts of anxiety, depression and was on 5 different medications. Her blood pressure was abnormally high, cholesterol was up, and had no energy or zest for life.

During the next 10 years, Sarah’s weight struggles were always there. She did have some great things happen however. At the age of 34, she became a wife, and gave birth to a very beautiful and healthy baby girl named Emily. She married a very successful man, who was supportive of her in many ways.

Although she struggled every day with her weight and the emotional scars of her past, she was somewhat pleased with the outcome of her life. She had a beautiful 5 year old girl, her husband was very loving and supporting, and she didn’t have to work 60 hour weeks any more.

Almost everything seemed to be going Sarah’s way until right before her 39th birthday. As she dropped Emily off for her first day of school, she, in a flash, became very sad. She felt a tremendous surge of emotions that consumed her at the moment. She didn’t know why, but what she did know was that she wanted ice cream. So she ate a quart of it without even thinking twice. She said it seemed like her body was on autopilot. With no thought, she walked into her home, opened up the freezer, pulled out a quart of chocolate ice cream, and ate it all. Then she went to her room and slept for a couple of hours. When she woke up, just in time for Emily to get picked up from school, she felt like a completely different person. She kept catching herself scolding Emily from eating anything unhealthy. She started to watch everything she ate, and obsessed about making sure that Emily would not become heavy. Over the next year, she continued to have this vision of Emily getting teased in school. This fear and this vision were so real, that she did everything she knew to stop it from becoming a reality.

In the process she, herself gained 40 more pounds. Now at 260lbs, Sarah’s worst fears had come true. Her daughter is overweight, and gets teased on a daily basis at school. Sarah’s health was deteriorating, and she had no idea what to do about it. After all, she tried just about everything in the past. One day, right before she was going to make an appointment with her Doctor to get a pre-screening test for weight loss surgery, she began to pray. She prayed for help, and for guidance to give her the strength and the courage to make the right decision. After her prayer, she went to sleep and something magical happened when she woke up. She woke up the next morning and was compelled to call off the appointment. She now had a fresh start. She was less than 24 hours away from putting her own life in danger by getting a risky surgery. By cancelling the appointment, she became empowered. This empowerment was her first step on this journey that you’re about to go through.

Now, how can someone like Sarah lose weight without dieting or intense, daily exercise? How can someone with Sarah’s history eat whatever they want and not gain weight?

When people ask me these questions, I ask them the following:

Do you know of someone who can eat what they want and never gain weight?

Do you know of someone who doesn’t exercise vigorously all the time, who doesn’t have a very active lifestyle, and who never seems to gain weight?

Most people do know of someone that fits the above questions. Those people who can do the above are thin. They are thin because they think exactly how a thin person has to think in order to be the weight they are. In the beginning of Sarah’s story, she weighed 260lbs. At that moment, she thought exactly as a 260lb woman would think. Once she can think exactly as someone who weighs 150lbs, she’ll be on a fast track to being 150lbs with no effort.

In order to think like someone who weighs less than her, she needs to unleash the magic of her subconscious mind to start working toward her goal weight.

This magic is something we all possess. Every single living human being has a subconscious mind, yet very few know how to utilize it. Once you complete this system, the magic of your subconscious mind can be fully utilized and extraordinary things can happen to your life, and definitely your body.

Again, Sarah’s story will be referred to many times throughout this system. If you’ve had or are struggling with your weight, there’s a very high probability that you can relate to at least one, if not many more of the instances shared in her story. Once you can get to the point where you think exactly like someone who has the health and who is the weight that you want to be, you will get there easily, quickly, and with little effort. It doesn’t matter if you desire to lose 10lbs or 100lbs. When the power your mind contains within itself is channeled in a way where both your conscious and subconscious is in alignment, you will get to your goal quickly and with little effort.

Thinking like someone who weighs 50lbs less than you only half of the time will get you half the results you’re seeking. In other words, if you currently weigh 200lbs, and want to weigh 150lbs, you must think like one who weighs 150lbs. If you only think like a 150lb person 50% of the time, you might lose 25lbs fairly easily, but you won’t get to your goal of 150lbs. Now, if your mind is pre-programmed to think like a 200lb person, there are some major steps and roadblocks to clear away in order to change that thinking process on the deepest levels. These steps are outlined in this system. The first step is to understand the thinking process you have. Once you understand how it is that you think, you can take the next step into changing it.

We humans are very complex creatures. What make us so unique compared to all other living things are our extensive physiological systems that run our bodies. We are capable of driving a car, making a baby, eating a sandwich, listening to the radio, fighting off diseases, digesting our food and talking on our cell phones, all at the same time. We can do all these things without thinking about each of them because of one powerful system. The Limbic System or the Subconscious Mind. This is the part of us that control our automatic responses.

Did you know that the average person has over 60,000 thoughts running through their mind each and every day? The important thing to note about this fact is that roughly 90% of these thoughts are done on an unconscious or subconscious level. These are the thoughts that just “pop” into your mind throughout the day. Many of these thoughts are fleeting, they just come and go, and you don’t remember them. Some of them you actually take notice of, and then dismiss them. Then, there are some that you actually recognize, consciously analyze, and do something about them.

These unconscious thoughts that we have, are what drives us to do 90% of our activities on a daily basis. This means that approximately 90% of all our behavior and activities are done on a subconscious level, or a level below our conscious thoughts. This can be either a very disturbing fact, or it can be very exciting, depending on what we do with this knowledge. Let me explain.

Since 90% of our activities are governed by these thoughts that we can’t control since they’re automatic, we can say that the vast majority of our lives are run on autopilot. It also means that we only use approximately 10% of our brain’s capacity. Science has proven this very fact.

Some may view this as troubling in that if we don’t have control of the thoughts we have, this means that we don’t have control over 90% of what we do in our lives. This is certainly true if you don’t utilize the enormous 90% of your mind, or your subconscious. The key is to take control over this 90% of unused power, and that’s what we’re going to do with this system.

An important thing to note is that the mind and the brain are not the same.

The brain is the physical organ that is part of the central nervous system and is located within the skull. You can physically see the brain and the mind is invisible to the eye. The mind uses the brain to carry out the instructions the mind gives to it. Simply put, the brain is the vehicle the mind uses to enable the body to perform physical tasks.

The mind contains within it 2 separate forms of activity. Two different means of processing thoughts, emotions and beliefs which interact seamlessly with one another. These two areas of the mind or processes of the mind are referred to among other things as the conscious and the subconscious mind.

When we are born, there is a part of the brain that is fully functional and already in place. This part of the brain is often referred to as the reptilian mind. Another part of the human mind that is formed at conception is the subconscious mind. This part of the mind is what controls our autonomic nervous system, or our body’s automatic reactions and responses. The subconscious mind is what is responsible for our heart beating, our ability to fight infections, our digestion, metabolism and all other bodily functions that we don’t consciously make happen.

Our conscious mind develops as we progress in age, and it’s said to not fully develop until our teenage years.

Your conscious mind is the rational, analytical part of the mind. It is the part of the mind that interprets all information taken in through your 5 senses. Whenever you see, hear, taste, smell, or touch something, your conscious mind tries to make sense of it. It’s takes in information, analyzes it, and stores it into your subconscious mind for processing. The human subconscious is the most powerful force each of us has. It’s capable of processing trillions of bits of information every single second. It’s more powerful than the most sophisticated computer in the world. We all share this power. We all have it, but most seldom use it. Imagine owning the most powerful and sophisticated computer in the world, that was designed specifically for you, and is meant to guide you through daily tasks. Now, imagine if this powerful computer you have was pre-programmed by other people who didn’t understand what your daily tasks are. They programmed your computer based on what their daily tasks are.

This is the challenge we face. Our environment, our parents, television, teachers, friends and other outside influences have built many of the programs in our computer. We learn from them how to act, how to obey rules, and laws, and we learn what to believe from them.

Now, let’s say you want to send an e-mail. You open up your e-mail program, type in the words, type in the address of the person you want it sent to, and hit the send button. But once you send it, you get a failure notice. You try to send it again, and the same thing happens. After banging the keypad many times in frustration, you come to find out that the person who programmed your e-mail software made a few mistakes along the way. He tried to create the perfect e-mail software for sending out mass e-mails, but not for sending it to only one person. It’s not what you wanted, but you didn’t program your computer. He did. He didn’t mean for you to have a hard time sending e-mails correctly. It’s the only way he knew how to program it for himself.

No matter how hard you try to send your e-mail, it doesn’t work. This is precisely what happens in a mind that’s programmed by someone who doesn’t live your life.

Your conscious mind makes the decision to send the e-mail, but your subconscious mind is your computer with faulty programming. When they aren’t working together in harmony, things do not get accomplished.

When one part of the mind is not in complete alignment with the other, whatever goal you seek to attain will be extremely difficult, if not impossible to reach. If you consciously want to lose weight, but your powerful subconscious mind is pre-programmed against it, it will not happen. This is true for any goal, but as you listen on, it will become apparent why it’s especially true for maintaining a healthy body weight.

Think of your subconscious mind as a river with a strong current. The current of the river represents the action and movement of the subconscious mind, and your thoughts. Now, think of your conscious mind as a paddle boat on that river. The direction the boat is paddling represents the conscious thoughts and direction those thoughts are moving. Whenever we want to achieve a certain goal, for example paddle from point A to point B, if it’s not in the direction of the current, we will be paddling against the current, and the current almost always is stronger. If the current is weak, we may be able to get to the goal, but it will require us to paddle much harder than if the current was in the same direction that we wanted to go. If the current or the subconscious mind is very strong in a particular direction, or goal, we may not even have to paddle. The current will just take us in that direction, easily and with little or no effort.

The difference between someone who has achieved extraordinary goals and the average person most often is the result of their subconscious mind being in agreement or alignment with their conscious mind. When someone looks at themselves in the mirror, and says to themselves, “Okay, enough is enough, it’s time to get this weight off”, it’s their conscious mind reacting to something they don’t like or are afraid of.

Now, if their subconscious mind is not in agreement, or alignment with the desire to lose weight, they can try, and try, and with a great amount of effort may be able to lose some weight, but almost always they will regain it, and then some. Again, it’s like paddling up the river against the current.

If you can relate to one or more of the situations you’ve just heard in Sarah’s story, understand that the situation you’ve experienced will start moving the current in a certain direction. The more situations you can relate to, the stronger the current will be. And the stronger the current, the harder it will be to move in the opposite direction.

Let’s look at this from a different perspective. Your conscious mind is the part of your mind that analyzes everything that you take in from your 5 senses. It tries to make sense of it. For example, while you are listening to this audio, your conscious mind is the part that is trying to make sense of what you’re listening to. Your ears take in the information, then your conscious mind analyzes this information, and makes a determination as to whether the information makes sense or not. It makes this determination by accessing another part of your mind called your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind serves many purposes. One of them is to store everything that you have taken in through your 5 senses as a sequence of images, or snapshots. So as you’re listening to this audio, your conscious mind analyzes it, it then checks your subconscious mind for references to see if you have seen or heard anything that can prove or disprove it. Once it has made the determination based on what’s stored in the subconscious mind, it attaches an emotion to the information, and then stores it into the subconscious as an image for processing. The emotion that your conscious mind attaches to the information could be a positive, negative, or an indifferent one. If what you’re listening to doesn’t interest you, your conscious mind will store it as such. It won’t make a large impression or a vivid image in your subconscious mind. If the information strikes you as very important, it will make a larger impression or a more vivid image in your deeper mind. If the information invokes some type of strong emotion such as excitement, fear, anger, or worry, it will also make a large impression or a more vivid image in your subconscious mind. The stronger the emotion that your conscious mind attaches to an event or information, the more vivid an image it will make in your subconscious mind. It’s very important to understand that your subconscious mind doesn’t analyze anything. It simply takes in whatever information the conscious mind gives to it. It doesn’t make a determination as to whether the information is true or false. The more the same information is received into the conscious mind, and stored into the subconscious, the stronger and more vivid the image. When the image becomes very strong and very vivid in the depths of the subconscious mind, it forms into a belief. These beliefs then guide us to take the actions we do on an every day basis.

It’s important to understand that the subconscious mind does not analyze things. It stores all information you take in, whether it’s true or false, and it acts on the information that’s stored. It takes all orders from the conscious mind and acts on them without questioning them.

Here’s another example. Joe was an average 13 year old boy in every sense of the word. Joe had an IQ test and scored a very average score. He never knew the results of the score; however. When Joe entered high school, several of his teachers told him that he was dumb because he didn’t understand some of what he was being taught. Once Joe heard this, his conscious mind analyzed this information, searched for references in his subconscious mind to see if there was anything that supported this information, and what do you know? Joe had an image of his father calling him dumb 5 years prior. This reinforced what Joe had just heard. His conscious mind then attached an emotion, maybe hurt, and then stored it into his subconscious mind. When another teacher called him dumb, this created a very strong image in the depths of his subconscious mind. What happens next shows the power of the mind. Once a strong image and emotion is embedded in Joe’s subconscious mind, this part of the mind begins to produce thoughts and actions to make sure that it happens. This starts the direction of the flow of that current you just heard about. Once the belief in Joe’s mind forms that he is in fact a dumb boy, his subconscious mind produces dumb thoughts, and dumb actions. His mind immediately begins to slow his learning capacity down, and it also causes him to do things that he normally wouldn’t do. He begins to act silly, not pay attention in class, his grades start to suffer, and he has no idea why he is doing so. In fact, when Joe re-took the IQ test, he even produced a much lower score than he did in the previous test. Once the subconscious mind, which doesn’t analyze anything, accepts information as true, it begins to ensure that whatever it believes, will, in fact, happen.

The point of this story is that because Joe had heard something from someone who he trusted or was an authoritative figure in his life, and that something he heard was something that he heard before, he developed an internal belief that it was true since that was stored in his subconscious mind. And once there, his subconscious mind made sure that it was an absolute reality.

Going back to the story about Sarah will shed some light on this information as well.

I’ll go over the points to understand from what I just outlined as it relates to Sarah’s story. First, the “fat gene”. Each and every time Sarah had heard her family talk about the dreaded “fat” gene; it became embedded deeper and deeper into her subconscious mind. Since she was young when she first heard this, and her conscious mind wasn’t fully developed, she was unable to analyze and truly decide for herself if this was true or false. As a result, the information immediately became stored into her subconscious mind as a fact, and then a belief. Here’s the significance of this alone: How can anyone become successful at anything, if they have a belief that they will fail? The answer is, they can’t. How could Sarah possibly become thin if she believed she couldn’t because her genetics wouldn’t allow it? She couldn’t. Her genetics could have given her the opportunity to become heavy, but certainly didn’t give her the probability. If Sarah maintained this belief, she will struggle with weight for the rest of her life.

Let’s go to another one. Each and every time Sarah went to family gatherings, her relatives always made comments about thin people, exercising and eating healthy. Again, by hearing this come from her family at a young age, Sarah’s subconscious had stored away this information. Her subconscious mind interpreted these comments as thin people are unhappy, and they only care about their bodies and nothing else. She interpreted exercise and eating healthy as something that would take away from living a happy lifestyle. Here’s the significance of this: Why would Sarah want to become thin, if deep in her mind, she believed that if she were to become thin, she would be just like the people on T.V. her parents despised? The answer we uncovered was that even though she said she wanted to lose weight, at deep levels in her mind, she actually didn’t want to, and she had no idea about it. Because on a subconscious level she didn’t want to become thin, her mind automatically produced thoughts, and the thoughts produced actions that made it impossible for her to become thin. Again, the current in her mind was strong, and her family began the flow of that current by consistently feeding her the negative thoughts about thin people, and it is nearly impossible for her to paddle against this current. Each time she made a conscious decision to diet and exercise hard, she changed the direction her boat was traveling, but it was always in the opposite direction of the current. This is exactly why she has struggled her whole life with her weight.

There are many other reasons for Sarah’s struggle, which we’ll cover later, but the important thing to note is this: If you or Sarah, or anyone else for that matter, has only one of these subconscious blocks or even one that’s similar, it is virtually impossible to lose weight and keep it off.

Sarah’s thoughts were completely out of alignment with the desire to lose weight, as was her beliefs. She had thought as a 260lb woman would think. Let’s look at your thoughts in a different way. Let’s say that you have a desire to grow a tree. The tree is a metaphor for a thin, healthy body. Think of your thoughts as the seeds you will plant to grow the tree. If you’re trying to grow a tree of health and vitality, or you’re trying to become thin and healthy, you certainly wouldn’t use seeds of hopelessness and despair. The same is true if you were trying to grow an apple tree. You wouldn’t plant seeds for an orange tree. I’m sure you’ve heard the term, “You reap what you sow.” This is exactly what the great philosophers had meant by this statement. Your thoughts are the seeds in your life, and the type of thoughts will determine the type of tree, you will have. When you are thinking like a thin person, and there are no other conflicting seeds that are planted on top of those, you will become thin. It’s a statement of fact. Now, the great news about all of this is that since your thoughts stem from your subconscious mind, all you need to do is to change the informational content in your subconscious to be consistent with the truth. The truth is that losing weight is not difficult, once your conscious and subconscious mind are completely in alignment. When that happens, your old, negative, thoughts of hopelessness, and your old beliefs about food and exercise will begin to fade away into faint whispers, and your thoughts, or your seeds will plant the tree, or body of your desires.

As mentioned earlier, the subconscious mind is the control center for your thoughts, emotions and automatic responses to events. It also controls your body’s automatic processes. In later sections, we will go over just how this powerful part of the mind controls physiological processes that take place naturally in the body. An important thing to note and to fully comprehend is that the subconscious mind is the source. It is the most prevalent cause of obesity, weight gain, and the challenges one faces when they can’t seem to lose weight. It’s not food that makes one heavy. It’s not a lack of exercise that makes one heavy. Whatever it is that you have seen on T.V., read in books and magazines, and have heard from so called experts that state otherwise, goes completely against the fundamental truth. Food. Exercise. Genetics. They are not the source. These things could either be obstacles in your quest for a better body, or they could be great allies of yours. Once you can transform them from one to the other, it will no longer be a struggle to achieve and maintain your perfect weight. Making food, exercise and your genes into an ally is the key, and if they’re not allies right now in your life, it’s because your subconscious mind has blocked them from being so. Most people who are overweight or want to lose weight cannot see their genes, or food or exercise as an ally. It’s hard to comprehend because they believed that these are the things that caused them to be heavy in the first place. Well, I’m here to tell you that contrary to what you’ve been told about your genes, or food, or exercise, it is not the cause or the source of being overweight. Your mind is the source, and by utilizing the principles, techniques and suggestions laid out for you, your conscious and subconscious mind will be in sync, and you’ll begin to experience what it’s like to think like a thin person, and as a result, lose weight without effort.

Now that you have some background as to the enormous power and potential of the subconscious mind, the question is, “How do you utilize this power and align the conscious and subconscious mind to create the body and health you want?” There are many effective ways to do this, and they are all outlined in this book. There are exercises that you can do to consciously change the seeds planted into your subconscious mind. There are also ways to completely bypass the conscious mind and input new suggestions into the subconscious. We’ll be doing both in this system.

Hypnotherapy is the most effective way to bypass conscious activity and program the subconscious mind with ideal thoughts and suggestions for your desired goal. A skilled hypnotherapist can work together with someone to find the underlying causes of limitations or negative behaviors. Once that’s accomplished, the hypnotherapist will work with them to bypass their conscious mind in order to feed positive suggestions to the subconscious mind. This is done by inducing a trance-like state, which is the same state that everyone reaches right before they sleep, and as soon as they wake up. This state is crucial in creating changes on a subconscious level.

Understand that our brain is an electrochemical organ. It has billions of neurons that use electrical signals to communicate with each other. The electrical signals are able to be measured by an EEG. The brain’s activity or levels of electrical signals are categorized into 4 different states, each representing different states of mind.

The 4 different categories of mental activity or brainwaves that we all go through on a daily basis, ranging from the most activity to the least activity are the Alpha, Beta, Theta, and Delta states of consciousness, or brainwaves. Here’s what they are and when you experience them.

Beta is the waking state. The mind is alert and stimulated as if you’re in a deep conversation with someone.

Alpha is the semi-alert state. The mind is quiet, as in physical and mental relaxation. The subconscious mind is open to suggestions, since conscious activity is lessened. This one of the states used in hypnosis.

Theta is a dreamlike state, or a deep hypnotic state, or deep meditative state.

Delta is a deep sleep. No dreams are present. There’s no conscious thought.

All the brainwave frequencies are normally present together in the brain. However, the dominant frequency is what determines the current state of the brain. As we go to sleep each night, we drift from one state of mind to the other. Our minds are in the Beta State when we lie down in bed, and then drift to the Alpha State. Then to the Theta State, and finally for a short time, we go into the Delta State. Since our conscious mind is what analyzes all information given to it, we must bypass it in order to give our minds suggestions that won’t be judged. This is the most effective way to produce a change. In order to bypass it, we must plant the suggestions, or seeds while we’re in the Alpha or Theta State of mind since in these states the conscious mind is much less active. Note that even while in a state of hypnosis, or while in the Alpha and Theta states of mind, the conscious mind is still functioning. It’s still active, although the activity is limited. This means that planting suggestions that aren’t consciously believable, or goes against what your conscious mind wants, will create a conflict. This conflict will slow down any effect suggestions may have. The key is to have your conscious mind accept the suggestion, and then bypass it to reach your subconscious mind. Once that’s achieved, your conscious and subconscious mind will be in alignment, and the magic within can take place.

So, the million dollar questions are:

Number 1- “How do I get into the Alpha or Theta states of mind in order to bypass my conscious mind and plant suggestions that are in alignment with my goals?”

And Number 2- “Once I’m in the Alpha or Theta states, what’s the most effective way to plant suggestions that are in alignment with what I want to achieve?”

First, let’s look at question number one. One thing that you can actually begin to do today is to go to sleep after reading your goals. If your goal is to have a better body and better health, write down in full detail exactly how you’d like to look and feel. Read it a few times before bedtime, and imagine what it would feel like if you had already achieved your goal. As your mind drifts off to sleep, it will automatically enter into these desired states of mind, then work all night to help it come to a reality.

Question number two will be answered a little later in the system. Before we dive into the specifics of the answers to the questions, there are some potential subconscious blocks that need to be addressed. Once these blocks are addressed on a conscious level and accepted by your conscious mind, the suggestions will take effect in a stronger and faster fashion.

We will be discussing the other ways to get into the different states in the phases to come. For right now, write out in detail what your ideal picture of health and ideal body would look and feel like to you, and read them before going to sleep, starting tonight.

There are two main benefits to doing the exercise of reading goals before bed. One is that since the brain’s activity is reduced before sleep, the subconscious mind is more open to suggestions. Two, is that once suggestions or new seeds are planted into the subconscious, the mind will work on it all night to make the suggestions into a reality. Remember, the subconscious mind is always functioning, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even though you may not be consciously aware of it, your subconscious is controlling your heart rate, metabolism, breathing patterns, and your automatic systems as you sleep. It is also working to bring whatever the dominant seeds of your mind into a reality while you are sleeping.

This is a reason why you hear so often to make sure you don’t argue and go to sleep angry at your spouse. When you do, the dominant thoughts and emotions are given to your subconscious, and while sleeping, it has no other choice but to act on those negative, dominant thoughts. Usually, after awakening, you’ll participate in a series of actions that’ll ensure the negative emotions and what the argument was based on continues to plague the both of you. Often times, you won’t even think about the actions. They will just happen automatically.

Many people I’ve spoken with tell me that they’ll take off their clothes right before bedtime, and get disgusted with the way they look. Usually, the emotion of fear ensues, since they’re afraid that they will never look better, or their spouse won’t find them attractive, or a host of other fears may arise. When they go to sleep with that dominant emotion and negative thoughts, the subconscious mind will work all night to make sure it stays that way. The subconscious mind will always do the opposite of what one intends for it to do if fear is what is predominantly on the mind. To clarify, if someone is feeling fear or disgust before they go to sleep, that is what’s on their mind. Since the fear of being heavy their whole life or disgust with their body is what their dominant thoughts are, the subconscious mind interprets this as a fact. It doesn’t analyze whether it’s true or not. It simply takes the thoughts and emotions, and makes sure it becomes a reality. It creates the direction of the current and continues to make it stronger as you sleep. When awakening, one will then wonder why they do things when they consciously know they shouldn’t. “Why did I go through the effort of driving through a fast food restaurant, and ordering the worst thing on the menu when I could have ate an apple and peanut butter, and saved myself 5 extra minutes?” “On top of that, now I feel stuffed and tired, and I could have felt great and energetic.” “Why do I do this?” The answer is because they are in essence telling their subconscious mind to make sure it continues to create the body they’re disgusted about, and the negative emotions they feel about themselves. And it does just that. The mind works all night long, and the current of the subconscious produces the automatic thoughts, which lead to automatic actions, such as driving through the fast food line without consciously thinking about it.

I suggest to you that you make absolutely sure you go to sleep each night with positive thoughts about yourself. If you’ve done the opposite up until now, you may see dramatic changes take place immediately.

There are several other ways to utilize the power of your subconscious. After each of the next phases in the system, you will find tips on what to do each night before going to sleep. They are laid out for you in a very specific manner . Also, after each of the next 6 phases in the system, you’ll listen to the subconscious audio, preferably before sleep. Each audio will help to quiet your mind, relax your body, and will offer suggestions relating to each of the following phases. It will help to create the Alpha or Theta State of mind, and thus seep into your consciousness. Many report it helps them sleep better and fall asleep faster as well.

Another very powerful tool to have in your arsenal that’ll help re-train your subconscious mind is the art of visualization. Remember, to enact the type of change in behaviors that’ll last long term, the change must take place on a subconscious level. In order to effect change on a subconscious level, there must be a picture in the mind of what the change would be like. For example, if you have been overweight your entire life, and cannot picture yourself being thin, it’ll be extremely difficult for you to ever become thin. An integral part of this system relies on visualization. In later phases, you’ll learn how to fully utilize this incredibly powerful tool to bring you the results you seek.

The next phase, phase 1 of this system will help to shed some light on some of the biggest mental obstacles most people aren’t aware of that makes it impossible to lose weight and become healthy. This powerful audio asks some fundamental questions. Once these questions are asked and answered, your eyes will open to the power and control you possess to help you on this journey.

In closing, I want to congratulate you again for taking this major step towards better health and a better body. For many, this system has answered all the questions that have eluded them and seemed impossible to get a straight answer to. It’s my hope that it will answer all of your burning questions, but most importantly, will empower you to finally take control of your unconscious thoughts, and thus create the life long change you desire. This introduction was meant to give you an understanding of the power that you possess. I know I gave you a lot of information. Please feel free to listen to this as often as you need to. Once you have a good understanding of this power that you have, you can move on to the next phase. Again, make sure you write down the issues you have that are relative to the ones in Sarah’s story. We’ll be going over these issues in the phases to come. Step 2 is to write down how you’d like to look and feel in full detail, and then read it before going to sleep at night. Remember, the first step in creating any change is to have the courage to acknowledge what needs to change, and the courage to do something to make the change. So far, you’ve done both, so give yourself a lot of credit for that, and once you fully comprehend what you’ve just listened to, you can move on and I’ll meet you there at the first phase.
